SRS Religare Laboratory banned in Haryana

H1N1: Religare blacklisted in Haryana
Express News Service

The Haryana government has blacklisted SRS Religare Laboratory after some of the H1N1influenza samples tested positive by the lab were later found negative in government laboratories, Deputy Commissioner Rajender Kumar Kataria said at the monthly meeting of district officers on Friday. Kataria said he has also asked District Education Officer Ajit Kadian to issue proper directions to schools to take adequate measures to stop the spread of H1N1 influenza.

I have pointed out earlier of the nexus between doctors, test laboratories and nursing homes and the pharma industry in fleecing patients.
The above is one proof.
This is not a genuine mistake committed by Religare, supposedly a big organisation with very good facilities.
This has been done intentionally so that H1N1 medicines are sold and the pharma industry earns money.
Religare should be banned throughout India to set an example.
The government is passing a code of conduct for pharma companies not to give freebies to doctors.
The test laboratories should also be covered under the law not to give 50% of their test charges to doctors as commission for carrying out the tests. These charges are making treatment very expensive for the masses and in many cases people do not undergo treatment just for these necessary/unnecessary test
