Reunion at Kolkata - 9.11.2008

After a long wait we had our reunion at International Club, Theatre Raod on 9.11.2008.
It was a good three hours we spent exchanging notes and memories.
Some centenary Video CD's were brought and were distributed at Rs 100.00 each.
N G Kar also brought ot a CD of the old songs of our time.
They too were sold for Rs 100.00 each.
The collection will go the the Goethals girls school being run there or to the Sister of Charities in Kolkata.
Here are a few pictures.
The evening was spent at Science City Auditorium where the Navy band gave around 90 minutes of exquisite music.
I especially liked the titlesong of the film "Tara Zameen Par" with a back ground film of the work being done by the wives of Nave personnel under "Sankalp" for the handicapped children.
It was a memorable evening.
I would personally like to thank Ranjan Guha and his team for the good work done, and also Nirmal for inviting us all to the concert.

Well done,Radheshyam. Richard Johnson would be elated to see how the baton is being passed.
What a smiling group which indicates what a joyous gathering it must have been.
