Are women safe under Congress or BJP?

The BJP and Congress must make public their stands on the serious issue of illegal snooping of a young woman by the Narendra Modi government of Gujarat in 2009 by misusing the state machinery. Both these parties cannot be allowed to mislead the people of Varanasi on the issue of women safety through their mysterious silence. At a time when different political parties are going to the voters, it is their duty to tell the truth to the people about their stands on important issues.
The BJP is deliberately avoiding to answer any question on snooping since the party is well aware that it cannot fool the people by falsely promising women safety when the reality is that its Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi had ordered surveillance of a young woman
The Congress party owes an explanation to the country on why it did not implement the union cabinet’s decision of December 26, 2013, to set-up a commission of inquiry to probe the shocking and shameful snooping by the Modi government. The Congress leadership, including its Vice-President Rahul Gandhi are silent on why their party’s central government has not even bothered since four months to appoint a job to probe the issue which concerns the basic human right of privacy of an individual.
Outgoing home and law ministers Sushil Kumar Shinde and Kapil Sibal made no efforts to get the probe started in such a serious matter and rendered the much hyped inquiry commission into a non-starter. The behavior of Mr Shinde and Mr Sibal gives rise to the suspicion that the Congress party has struck a deal with the BJP on the issue. It appears that the Congress agreed not to probe the snooping involving the Narendra Modi government in return of an assurance from the BJP that no top leader of the party or their relatives would be troubled once they are out of power.
The least the Congress and its central government could have done was to have got the matter investigated and it failed miserably in doing so. Would Mr Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party show the courage to answer why was the probe scuttled ? What is Mr Rahul Gandhi’s stand on the UPA government’s failure to appoint a judge to probe the snoopgate ? Will he deny that there was deal between the Congress and the BJP on not probing this matter ?
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has consistently maintained that the Congress and BJP have a hidden understanding of not attacking each other’s leadership and not exposing the scams of the other party. The AAP will expose the BJP and Congress hidden alliance on issues concerning the people so that their design of fooling the people does not go unnoticed.
