The Imbeciles at it again

Sena dares Shah Rukh to include Pak players in Knight Riders

Mumbai: Shiv Sena today attacked Shah Rukh Khan for lamenting exclusion of Pakistani players from the Indian Premier League (IPL) and dared him to take the players in his team, Kolkata Knight Riders.

"If Shah Rukh wants Pakistani players to play here, he should go to Karachi and Islamabad to play with them, if he includes Pakistani players in his team, he should be aware of the consequences," Sena spokesperson Sanjay Raut told
reporters here.

Reacting to the non-selection of Pakistani players in the IPL auction, Bollywood star and co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders Shah Rukh Khan had recently said that they (Pakistani players) should have been welcomed.

"I truly believe they (Pakistan players) should have been chosen," Khan had said.

"We would have loved to have Pakistani players if they were made available legally," he had said.

Meanwhile, protesting the actor's comment, Sena activists tore posters of SRK's upcoming movie My Name Is Khan at Eternity Mall premises in neighbouring Thane.

The activists handed over a letter to the owner of the mall asking to stop release of the movie.

Statesman News Service
MUMBAI, 29 Jan: Shiv Sena chief Mr Bal Thackeray today slammed country’s wealthiest businessman Mr Mukesh Ambani for his “offending" observation that Mumbai, Chennia and Delhi belonged to all Indians and not to a specific community. In the Shiv Sena mouthpeice Saamna, its editor wrote: “Be warned and do not dare Marathi people. The Marathis have as much right over Mumbai as Mukesh Ambani has on Reliance companies.”
The front page statement took exception to the “recent elitist tendency” to play up pan-Indian character of the commercial capital. Mr Thackeray sarcastically wrote: “Mukesh Ambani is the latest to jump into the bandwagon. It seems some kind of contest is on to undermine the Marathi character of Mumbai."
In the course of a conference in London, Mr Ambani had criticised the state government's recent controversial decision, since recersed, making knowledge of Marathi mandatory for cabbies in Mumbai. Mr Ambani, like his cricketer friend Sachin Tendulkar, was another celebrity to assert that any Indian had as much right to live and work in Mumbai as Marathis. Just as Tendulkar angered Thackeray, so did Mr Ambani with his statement.
Mr Thackeray wrote: “Mukesh’s father Dhirubhai Ambani was a good friend. He always used to acknowledge Mumbai and Maharashtra's contribution to his success and was respectful of the Marathi sentiment.” The article reminded Mr Mukesh Ambani that his father had always been apolitical and so should he be.
In a final word of advice, Mr Thackeray asked the Reliance chairman “to focus on his business interests, follow in father’s footsteps and not to roil Marathi sentiment”.

I had said a few days ago that the two imbeciles (Bal & Raj) of Maharashtra would not allow the matches to be held in Mumbai or for that matter any city in Maharashtra if the Pakistanis came.
I have been proved correct by their reaction to SRK's statement.
I think it is about time to call their bluff.
They should be jailed for anti-national statements and given a one way ticket to the Andamans.
We cannot have such leaders in India who are perpetually spitting out poisonous statements.
The Indian film industry should be shifted to Gujarat so that our film artistes can work peacefully without having to look over their shoulders to see if they have pleased the imbeciles.
