We should thank the West in putting down on paper the properties of turmeric.
Although we had been using it for ages, I used to think it was added just to give colour to our food.
We began to sit up and take notice when people in USA started taking out a patent on the uses of turmeric and ginger
The USA is such a commercial country, they would probably take out patents on the number of ways one could piss.
The result is there for all to see.
Personally, I take half a teaspoon of turmeric powder in half a glass of milk, with sugar, at night, for a few days, before sleeping whenever my knee pains increases.
When the pains decrease substantially, I stop.
I don't take a full glass of milk because it causes flatulence and loose motion.
