Former Bihar JD-U Murderer MP Granted Bail

Former MP and JD-U leader gets bail in murder case

Patna, Jan 7 (IANS) The Patna High Court Thursday granted bail to Janata Dal-United (JD-U) leader and former MP Vijay Krishna, who along with his son Chanakya, has been accused of abducting and murdering a businessman.

A division bench passed the bail order on the petition filed by Vijay Krishna, official sources in court said.

Krishna, who is in his late 50s and is currently in jail here, was arrested from Faridabad in Haryana last year in connection with the abduction and subsequent murder of businessman Satyendra Singh.

In November 2009, the police charge-sheeted him under Section 302 (Murder) and 364 (Kidnapping in order to murder) of the Indian Penal Code.

Satyendra Singh, 50, was abducted in the last week of May. His decomposed body was found floating in the Ganga river June 11.

Krishna's son is still absconding.

I have been regularly raising this point and will continue raising.
When will the courts stop giving bail to those persons who are accused of heinous crimes.
IT HAS GOT TO STOP, no matter who the person is.
Justice is not being carried out when they roam the streets freely after murdering people and then threatening or enticing witnesses to change their testimony.
If the courts have a soft corner for them then they may carry out the hearing on day to day basis to expedite their case.
But leaving them on bail is unacceptable to the people.
And once these people have been convicted by the courts, they should be executed and we should waste our national resources on these vermins who would be better dead.
By the way, for your information, the murderer is from Nitish Kumar's party who is trying to give a clean government to Bihar.
