India is a country having a rich heritage of temples as we have thousands of gods.
This is because we find His power in everything.
If any Indian earns a substantial sum, the first thing he does is construct a temple.
This is specially true of Marwaris.
Thus we have the Birlas, Bangurs, Goenkas building temples wherever they set up industries.
The temples are also very rich because of donations received from the public.
They were the envy of foreign invaders who came from the West.
The Somnath Temple was looted and destroyed innumerable times by Muslim invaders.
Many religious minded people would like to see the best temples in India but do not have either the resources or the time.
But some very beautiful temples have been made abroad all over the world.
We may not get the chance to see them personally.
A friend, Ganesan, has sent these pictures so that at least the pictures of the temples can be viewed.

Some captions are incorrect. Especially, for venkateswara Temple, Bridgewater, NJ and Sri Siva Vishnu Temple, Lanham, MD near DC
