French is a beautiful language earlier spoken by aritocrats.
English was spoken only by the servant class.
However, Britain's conquests in the 18th century gave a fillip to their language.
Now, even the French are fighting a losing battle against the on-slaught of the English language.
What chance does Swami Ramdeo have in stemming the tide of people who want to study English?
English is the language of communication which people all over India and the world understand and Swami Ramdeo cannot push the clock back.
I wouldn't go so far as to call him what the French have called their President in the above note as I respect Swami Ramdeo for his effort to rid India of corrupt politicians.
