Sceneries

Optical illusions are always interesting.
But they can also be devastating.
My grand-daughter has gone to the Mall in "The City Centre".
She has just learnt to walk and when she goes outside she throws away our hand when we want her to hold it.
She did th same hing that day.
As she was moving fast whe suddenly saw a open daw and rushed through it.
Only when she was briught to a standstill by the clear glass she found out it was not a door.
Besides Duryodhana's greed for power another reason was optical illusion.
King Dhritharastha, was blind from birth.He fathered a hundred children and Duryodhana was the eldest.They were called Kauravas.
King Pandu had five children. He had vitiligo, in which white patches appear on the body.
There was a continuing enemity between the two families.
Once the Pandus had constructed a new palce and had invited the Kaurava.
Two hall were specially constructed in the palace.
In one hall the floor appeared to be water but was not actully water.
In the other, the floor appeared to be solid but was filled with water.
When Duryodhana entered the first floor, he walked very slowly, lifting his clothes. thinking there was water.
In the second room he walked very fast, having made a fool of himself in the first hall.
He fell into the water.
Dhraupadi, who was nearby, broke into laughing saying, " A blind man can beget only blind sons.
Duryodhana was not blind. He was hurt to the quick.
Then and there. he took a pledge to have her disrobed and made to sit on his lap. Since he was blind, she should have no objection.
The story is long and goes no, but I won;t tell that now.
But we see above how optical illusion led to a war, The Mahabharata.

It's made entirely of one-way glass!
No-one can see you from the outside, but when
you are inside it's like sitting in a clear glass box!
Now would you...COULD YOU....???
