Parents' sentiments

There is no sadder moment in a father's life than when he feels he is being ignored by his grownup son. It makes his life miserable. Life becomes meaningless to him. This happens when
a father expects something in return from his son. This is a grave mistake on the part of the
father. He should not expect anything from his son. Expectation will only create pain. An
unbearable pain. It will make him feel that his mission in life has been a total failure. This pain
he has to bear alone because it cannot be expressed or shared. Because for him it is a shame,
especially when he sees his relatives and friends are living happily with their children. He
withdraws himself into a shell and wonders what he has done to his life.
