Remember in school we used to chant "Money, money sweeter than honey". This I find
very true in Delhi. Money, branded dresses, booze, cars and motorbikes are the ultimate aim.
Education, morality, culture all take the back seat. There is no library nearby where I stay. As a
matter of fact, there is no decent book shop in most parts of Delhi. One has to go to south Delhi
to purchase books of one's choice. This is reflection of the international picture of the rat race
for wealth and ultimate physical comfort.
