Why Politicians Change their Seats

MORCHA OFFERS HILL TICKET TO JASWANT

The above headline in “the Telegraph” this morning attracted my attention.
Jaswant Singh an MP from Rajasthan has decided to shift and stand from Darjeeling,
Why?
Why do MPs and MLAs continuously keep changing their constituencies?
Why do they stand from multiple constituencies?
It is because, once elected, they hardly ever visit their constituencies and meet the people, leave alone solving their problems.
The political parties also select film stars and cricketers for their glamour values but who contribute nothing to parliament or the people. They just continue with their film or cricketing fraternity.
You cannot have your feet in two boats. You are sure to fall in the water.
Govinda who won the last election from Mumbai North West. had an attendance of just 10% in Parliament.
The southern states have a penchant for throwing up film star politicians who were totally involved with politics and got rich dividend.
There are very few MPs like Mr Kamal Nath who nurture their constituencies like babies and so continuously win from the same constituency, Chikmagalur.
Since the MP/MLA don’t look after his people, the people are only too willing to kick them out when they come back to seek their votes a second time.

Sixty years have passed since Independence. It is about time it was revised/amended to weed out corrupt, unscrupulous and criminal politicians .
I would request your suggestions on the changes you would want.
