WHY THE AMERICAN ECONOMY FELL OFF THE CLIFF !!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!! !!!!
John Smith started the day early
having set his alarm clock
(MADE IN JAPAN ) for 6 am.
While his coffeepot
MADE IN CHINA )
was perking, he shaved with
his electric razor
MADE IN HONG KONG )
He put on a shirt
MADE IN SRI LANKA ),
designer jeans
MADE IN SINGAPORE )
and
tennis shoes
(MADE IN KOREA )
After cooking his breakfast in his new
electric skillet
(MADE IN INDIA )
he sat down with his
calculator
(MADE IN MEXICO )
to see how much he could spend today. After setting his
watch
(MADE IN TAIWAN )
to the radio
(MADE IN INDIA )
he got in his car
(MADE IN GERMANY )
filled it with GAS
(from Saudi Arabia )
and continued his search
for a good paying AMERICAN JOB.
At the end of yet another discouraging
and fruitless day
checking his
Computer
(made in MALAYSIA ),
John decided to relax for a while.
He put on his sandals
(MADE IN BRAZIL ),
poured himself a glass of
wine
(MADE IN FRANCE )
and turned on his
TV
(MADE IN INDONESIA ),
and then wondered why he can't
find a good paying job
in AMERICA
AND NOW HE HOPES THAT HE CAN GET HELP FROM A PRESIDENT BORN IN KENYA
hahahaaa kenyaaaa
The above has been sent by Bishan Dewan.
We may think of it as a joke but just think of the broadmindedness of the American Society.
We in India do not even allow people from Bihar to work in Maharashtra although they have been living there for generations.
However, in contrast, the Americans have allowed a person from Kenya, that too a black, to become its President.
It is this spirit of America which led Christopher Columbus to set out on on uncharted seas, when people still thought the earth was flat and he would fall over, to discover America.
That spirit allowed it to assimilate people from all walks of life, from all over the world, to become a great nation.
America is having some problems now but I know their indomitable spirit will help it overcome it and emerge stronger.
They are not narrow minded like us.
I SALUTE THEIR STATUE OF LIBERTY.
