Good Vs Evil, the Eternal Tussle

“Our unsung heroes” by J K Ghosh of 2nd October, shows the immense potential of the human being. The normal man hardly ever uses even 1% of his potential, myself included.
God has given every living being a body and a beautiful machinery within which gets all its nourishment from God’s free resources.
He has put himself in each of the living being whether it is plant, animals or humans.
Each of the beings has the potential of God since he is present in each one.
That is why even a single seed has the potential to produce thousands of fruits and subsequent plants and trees.
One frail human being who walked half naked shook the British Empire and led the people of India to freedom.
One weak man who was a failure in all his previous. endeavours freed black man in American from slavery.
One black man in America inspired his people to stand for their rights, which have resulted in Obama becoming the first black President of USA.
One simple man,Raj Narain, who most people believed was a joker, defeated the mighty Indira Gandhi.
God never does anything Himself.
Everything is done by His creation.
The first step in is creation is Birth.
It does not happen by chance, nothing in God’s creation is by chance. Then He would not be God.
Then why is one person born in the house of Laxmi Mittal as his son and another is born as Kasab in Pakistan.
We explain it on the consequences of our previous birth. We cannot otherwise the disparity, which explains in this world.
Like Newton’s Law, there is a Law of the Universe, which
was recited by Swami Vivekananda and other sages in India.
Every good Karma will result in good fruits and every bad Karma will bear bad fruits. Nothing can stop this.
However, God in His Infinite wisdom also created evil. Rather it is not creation of evil. Absence of goodness is evil.
He has not created evil, absence of goodness results in evil.
We can compare it to Light.
When the sun shines it is light but when the sun is not there it is darkness.
Just as we saw the above persons had immense potential to do good. We see on the other end people who did immense harm.
There was Hitler who single-handed killed millions of people because some person of a particular race had slapped him when he was a child. With him, standing by his side would be Mussolini.
Another person in the list would be Josef Stalin who killed millions of his countrymen..
The next person in the list who comes to mind was Chengiz Khan.
This tussle between Good and Evil has been going on from the birth of the human race and will continue till the end of the human race.
Thus in our Hindu stories from the Vedas there is always Good in the form of incarnation of Vishnu and an Evil Rakshas who Vishnu destroys.
Ram vs Ravan, Krishna vs Kansa,
For our own peace of mind, we must always try to side with the forces of good.
It is only then that God who sits in our conscience says, “Well done my son”
