JD(S) Delhi merges with AAP
The Delhi state unit of Janata Dal (Secular) on Saturday merged itself into the Aam Aadmi Party. Led by its state president and chairman of the All India Muslim Ekta Manch, Haji Ikram Hasssan, hundreds of JD(S) workers were welcomed into the AAP by party leaders Professor Anand Kumar and Dilip Pandey.
Among those who joined the party included JD(S) Delhi unit vice-president Haji Mohammad Yamin, secretaries Afzal Siddiqui, Haji Muteja and Kishan Lal. The JD(S) women’s wing president Sukshma Singh and secretary Sahiba Naqvi, spokesperson Shafiq Mohammad and vice-president Afzal Siddiqui also became the AAP members.
Apart from the JD(S) a large number of BSP and Congress workers from the Delhi North East parliamentary constituency also joined the AAP and pledged their support for the party candidate Professor Anand Kumar.
Addressing these workers from Gokulpuri, Babbarpur and Mustaffabad assembly segments of the North East parliamentary constituency, Professor Kumar and Dilip Pandey said the AAP is willing to welcome political activists with a clean track record into its fold who are ready to work for the eradication of corruption and communalism from the society.
Professor Kumar said the AAP goal in the coming Lok Sabha elections is to ensure that honest MPs willing to fight dynastic politics and criminalization of politics are sent to the Lok Sabha.
The JD(S), BSP and Congress workers who joined the AAP said they were impressed with the functioning the Arvind Kejriwal government in Delhi, which fulfilled its election promises of bringing down the electricity bills and providing free water to the residents.
The AAP leaders appealed to these workers to take the message to the people that the Congress and BJP joined hands to bring down the Kejriwal government so that the pro-people measures started by it did not last long.
Several leaders and workers from other parties are in touch with the AAP and are willing to join the party, but the decision will only be taken in case they are willing to endorse the core principles of the party
I suppose, the Muslims are at last realizing the the Congress and the SP are using them as cannon fodder, to be used in elections and then thrown away as waste shells.
AAP is the only party which will be take care of both the Hindus and the Muslims and all other castes because it will eradicate corruption and have plenty of funds for the development of the country and creation of jobs.
Money is not a problem.
There is plenty of money, it the utilization that is a problem.
As Rajeev Gandhi said, only 10 % reaches the intended target.
And with Modi, favouring industrialist like Mukesh Ambani, Adani and others, you can expect that prices will increase further if the BJP is brought to power.
