After seeing the beautiful photographs of the get-together held on the 9th August to honour Nirmal Verma on his appointment as the next Naval Chief, I felt left out. Being stuck in Delhi has made me miss several get-togethers for the last three years. I'm really unfortunate. That it was a great success, I could gather from the wonderful synopsis mailed to me by my classmate, A.K.Roy. I saw photos of several persons whom I've not met for over 40 years. Many I could not recognise. But, that all had a wonderful time was very much evident from the photos. Let us hope that I shall be able to attend the next get-together, God willing.
