Vadra land deals get clean chit from the Congress party

Haryana's deputy commissioners have found no irregularities in Congress President Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra's land deals, media reports said.

A panel of four deputy commissioners has given Vadra's deals a clean chit, said reports. Four Haryana deputy commissioners probed Vadra's deals after IAS officer Ashok Khemka allegations that there were irregularities. "No transaction has been reported to be undervalued," Vijay Singh Dahiya Palwal, deputy commissioner, was quoted as saying by a newspaper.

The deputy commissioners of Gurgaon, Faridabad, Palwal and Mewat probed the land deals, but India Against Corruption leader Arvind Kejriwal rejected their reports.

"Newspapers say Haryana officers give clean chit to Vadra. That was expected. Country wud be surprised if it were otherwise," Kejriwal tweeted.

He alleged the Congress and the BJP were brothers in arms in corruption. "Are all these probes merely an eyewash? Time will tell. It wud (would) further prove - Cong BJP bhai bhai," he said.

"In Haryana, all good officers shunted out. Those in key positions crawl when asked to bend."

There is nothing surprising in Vadra being given a clean chit.

I had prophesied it as soon as the inquiry was set up.

With the Congress in power at the centre and Sonia being the de facto ruler over a puppet PM and and a Congress government in Haryana, could the result of the inquiry be otherwise.

On the other hand have you seen how fast they have put the Income Dept dept, Enforcement Directorate , Company Law Board and others behind Nitin Gadkari within one week of the charges raised by IAC.

Of course this alacrity has been shown because of the elections in Himachal Pradesh, to neutralize the accusations against Virbhadra Singh. After the elections the inquiry will become slow and Nitin Gadkari will get a clean chit. Charges against Vadra were the oldest but no IT people have inquired how he got all the money to buy 8 plots at different locations in Haryana.

What is the normal time in registering plots and mutating them in Haryana?

How long did it take Vadra to get his plots registered and mutated?

The BJP has made an accusation that Virbhadra Singh had filed wrong IT returns and made changes in his returns after being accused of amassing wealth.

Have the IT people told to inquire the case?

Or do the IT people act selectively at the behest of the centre.

IT IS IMPERATIVE AND URGENT THAT THE THE INCOME TAX DEPT, ENFORCEMENT DIRECTORATE AND CBI BE REMOVED FROM THE CONTROL OF THE CENTRE.
