Goethals Sports 2012 - 4

On the 6th after the sports, the Principal, Bro Miranda, invited us for tea and some snacks. He and the teachers interacted with all of us, introducing themselves. Bro. Miranda also wanted the ex-students to come forward and promote the school. He also invited us to come every year to the Annual Sports.

I was under the impression that the number of boarders had decreased considerably. I was wrong. The numbers are more or less the same. The number of days scholars had increased.

Cricket and hockey had been removed from the schools curricular activities for the last many years. Bro Miranda promised that those two sports would be restarted from next year.

During our times, basketball was not played. Nowadays, they pay special attention to basketball and volleyball.

On returning to Cochran Place, the boys let themselves go with a few drinks and songs and music.

Then they went for dinner which went on up to 1.00 am in the morning.

Mr. K K Chirimar and I were invited by Binamra Goenka for a vegetarian Dinner and went to sleep by 10 o'clock.

The next lot of 18 pictures completes the events of the 6th October.
