Should Nitin Gadkari Resign?

New Delhi, Nov. 5 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) appeared to be wide split on Monday with eminent lawyer Mahesh Jethmalani training guns on party chief Nitin Gadkari and quitting from the National Executive Council (NEC).

Mahesh, who has written to Gadkari over corruption issue, said that he has not received satisfactory response from the BJP President.

"I have resigned on moral grounds. I haven't got satisfactory response from Gadkari. I wasn't satisfied with his (Nitin Gadkari) explanations, the party's image is being tarnished," said Jethmalani.

"The recent statement explaining his earlier statement on Dawood and Swami Vivekanand is also not satisfactory. I personally think that he should not get a second term," he added.

It may be recalled here that Mahesh's father and senior BJP leader Ram Jethmalani had had demanded Gadkari's resignation amidst charges of irregularities in the funding of the latter's Purti group. (ANI)

The above is from the mail I receive from Yahoo

At last some sensible people in the BJP are speaking out.

Under too long have we had the "chalta hai" attitude amongst the party.

From tolerating the Reddy's and Yeddyurappa the situation has come such that even the President is accused of corruption.

I cannot forget the picture of Sushma Swaraj standing behind the Reddy brothers with her hand raised as if in blessing all that they were doing.
