Those who were in Goethals in the 60s may remember Bro Peter. He was recently in St. Mary's on his way to Shillong where he has been for the last many years. He is presently 92 and has to walk with the help of a stick. He taught us Chemistry and was a very good teacher.
In St, Mary's came to know of his other proficiency. He was a very good hockey player. He played right wing to sir. Mr. Lobo who used to play left wing. I understand theirs was a very deadly combination.Before joining the brothers he had worked for three years in the railways as an apprentice. Thereafter, he felt that was not his calling and joined the brothers.
It was just great meeting him after two years.
