Dr. Manmohan Singh and Narendra Modi - a Comparative study.

At the outset let me tell you that it is impossible comparing unlikes.
You can compare one variety of apple with another variety or one variety of orange with another variety but you cannot compare oranges with apples.
Comparing Dr. Manmohan Singh and Narendra Modi is like comparing the above.
Firstly the educational qualifications of both are poles apart.
If you would want to compare them as Prime ministers that too is not possible for while one has a steam rolling majority and can get any bill passed in Parliament with his own party strength, the other had to cobble a passing majority with a motley group of allies pulling in different directions.
It is like two boxers fighting with one of them having his hands tied behind his back.
Not everyone can be the Thakur in "Sholay" fighting against Gabbar Singh.
Instead, I will compare them through their Gunas as has been mentioned in the Bhagavad Gita.
As you may knowing, the human being at any point of time acts according to the percentage of three Gunas present in him at that point of time.
The three Gunas are Satvik, Rajasik and Tamsik.
Every human being has these three gunas inf different proportions and behave according to the ratio of the three Gunas.
What are the qualities of a person in the three gunas.
A satvik person is a thinker, a teacher, an introvert, a guide, a mentor. These people can lead by example and all their actions are towards the benefit of mankind.
A rajasik person is an extrovert who leads by action and force They are rulers who do not care for the means by which they achieve their ends. The rajasik person thinks only of himself. I have got this today, I will get that tomorrow and so on.
A tamasik person is a lazy person who is satisfied with the status quo or if he does take action, it is demonic.
In ancient days, the original caste system was based on the percentage of these three gunas in a person.
According to the original caste system, the Brahmins were predominantly satvik with less of Rajasik and traces of Tamsik.
The Ksatriyas had some of Satvik gunas but predominantly Rajasik and less of Tamasik.
The Vaisyas had even less Satvik, some rajasik and more of Tamasik.
The Sudras had traces of satvik, less of rajasik and predominantly Tamasik.
The original caste system was such that one could move up or down the ladder depending on how one developed the gunas in his personality. It was a system by which a person selected a job which was most suitable to his gunas.
Since, the Brahmins were the intelligentsia and teachers, people respected them and gave them wealth without they having to do manual work.
The Brahmins defiled the system and made it hereditary so that their children could enjoy the special privileges which they got from society.
Now, if we analyse Dr Manmohan Singh's gunas we find that they are predominantly satvik with traces of Rajasik only. So although he is born a Singh, a Rajput, by nature he is a Brahmin.
Similarly, when we analyse Narendra Modi's gunas, we see that they are basically rajasik, with traces of  satvik. Hence although he says he is a vaisya by birth, by gunas, he is a Rajput.
According to the Gunas, if we analyse Arvind's character, we find that all his actions are for the benefit of the people without caring for himself - thus satvik. He is also a leader who can move a demoralized population as he did after the Lok Sabha elections thus Rajasik. The too gunas are more or less equal with the Satvik slightly more.
I would say he is like Parusaram, the warrior sage, without the anger of Parusaram.
