AAP Meeting - Kolkata - 20130623

Today, I attended the first meeting of Aam Aadmi Party, in Kolkata.

Pankaj Gupta and Prof Ajit Jha from Delhi also came to guide through the meeting.

A very stirring CD of the AAP was played.

Thereafter both Mr. Gupta and Prof Jha made a few points on the aim of AAP.

This was followed by a question and answer session, questions asked by the new people who had come and the answers by Mr. Gupta and Mr. Jha. Thereafter considerable time was spent in how the organisation would be set up in Bengal.

Some of the districts already have representations but some do not have any.

Mentors were selected to work through the process of setting up the organisation.

At present all efforts are being concentrated on the Delhi elections to take place some time in October/November 2013.

If we in AAP are able to send a good no of MLAs to the Delhi assembly, we would find the setting up our organisation in the rest of India, much easier and faster.

I have given above a photo of the meeting being addressed by Prof Jha.

The second picture is the cover of Arvind Kejriwal's book, "Swaraj", a small booklet brought out by AAP and two batch of AAP.

I also bought a CD.

I would suggest all those who wish to see a better India under AAP buy the book "Swaraj" and the CD.

It will clear all doubt why AAP is so necessary in the Indian context.

As I see it, we will have to work very hard if we are to convince people to vote for AAP.

The meeting ended for us with the singing of the National Anthem but continued for the Mentors.
