2 held for attacking Prashant Bhushan

NEW DELHI, OCT 13:
Two youths, who escaped after attacking lawyer-activist Prashant Bhushan, were arrested here this morning, police said.

Mr Tejinder Pal Singh Bagga and Mr Vishnu Verma were apprehended from a place near Baba Kharak Singh Marg, they said.

Mr Bagga had yesterday said that he would surrender in a local court. Mr Inder Verma, who claimed to be the Delhi president of Sri Ram Sene, was arrested yesterday in connection with the incident.

Mr Bhushan was assaulted yesterday by three youths belonging to a right-wing group in his Supreme Court chamber for advocating the holding of a plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir.

The attack on Bhushan came live on the TV screens when the trio barged into Chamber No 301 of New Lawyers Chamber opposite Supreme Court and attacked him mentioning “Kashmir, Kashmir”. Mr Bhushan was giving an interview to a TV channel at the time of the incident.

On social networking site ‘Facebook’, the account holder in the name of ‘Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena’ had claimed they “hit Prashant Bhushan hard in his chamber in Supreme Court. If you will try to break my nation, I will break your head” which was repeated on Bagga’s Twitter account as well.

Although I support Anna, I do not agree even 0.1% with what was said by Prashant Bhusan. These politicians think they know everything and want to take decisions which affect the common man just to please their own egos.
I fully support these young men who beat up Prashant Bhusan for his anti-national statement.
Thousands of our jawans have laid their lives protecting Kashmiir and this man wants to gift it away.
I would say these young men are about 64 years late.
If they were there when India was partitioned and one J L Nehru and M K Gandhi were beaten up like Prashant Bhaushan was, we probably would never had partition and a permanent sour on our western flank.
Those two people should have been beaten up when they agreed to partition India. As it is, refugees from both the eastern and western flank are infiltrating back into India and negating the affect of the partition.

Have you heard of the catastrophe of the man who rid a tiger? Let us connect the dots: Anna team takes full support of the RSS to see that the anti-corruption movement they is successful. The Organization was more than happy to extend full support for obvious reasons. After all, investigative agencies have started closing in the perpetrators of home grown terror. Till then it is smooth ride for both outfits. But then, Kejriwal and associates decides to campaign against Congies in the bi-election knowing very well that it will benefit the Saffron party. A cleaver by half step only a RSS minded person can think of. Prasant and a few others were not ready for this. They decided to keep away from the electoral campaign. That did not go well with the RSS who had invested so much in making the anti-corruption campaign a successful one. They waited till the last day of the canvassing and then decided to send a strong message to Mr. Prasant and company. Don't mess with us. If we can bomb trains and mosques, teaching you a good lesson for your miss-deeds is cake walk for us. Well, this is what happens when you ride a tiger. The earlier we know our enemy within the better.

Tintu,
Like Diggy Raj, you are seeing the hand of RSS everywhere like our Indian commies used to earlier see the hand of the CIA everywhere.
There are many nationalist still beside the RSS who would not part with Kashmir. Ask the people of Punjab and former East Bengal who overnight became foreigners in their own land.Over night they became minorities and were driven out of their homes by the Muslim hordes. While the Muslims of India are treated like son-in-laws and are now being given reservation in government jobs and what not, the Hindu population of Pakistan has dwindled to hardly 1% of what it was during partition. On the other hand the Muslim population of India has increased steadily by infiltration from Bangladesh and Pakistan.I am not surprised at the ferocity of the reaction from the Kashmiris. As I have said it in another post, this treatment should have been meted out to J L Nehru and M K Gandhi when they talked of partition of India.
