Reward or Punishment

A 19 year old ex-cheerleader (now an Air Force Security Forces Sniper) was watching a road that led to a NATO military base when she observed a man digging by the road. She engaged the target (i.e. she shot him).

It turned out he was a bomb maker for the Taliban, and he was burying an IED that was to be detonated when a Canadian patrol walked by 30 minutes later. It would have certainly killed and wounded several soldiers.

The interesting fact of this story is the shot was measured at 725 yards! (Folks, that's a shot 25 yards longer than seven football fields!). She shot him as he was bent over burying the bomb. The shot went through his butt and into the bomb which detonated; he was blown to pieces. And the last thing that came out of his mouth .. Was his ass!

The Air Force made a motivational poster of her:

That is Canada.

If that had happened in India, the following would be the aftermath.

1. J& K state declares hartal and violent demonstrations follow.

2. Civil Right Groups demand an enquiry.

3. Teesta Setalvad says the man was just answering nature's call
and files a case against Modi accusing him of ordering the fire.

4. Hussain will draw a bare butt to honour the slain victim.
"The Hindu" will hail Hussain's freedom and artistry.

5. Barhka Dutt, Rajdeep Sardesai, Arnab Goswami, Karan Thappar and others
debate for a week if it was right to fire at the butt.

6.The Airforce sniper faces departmental enquiry and suspension.

7. Manmohan loses a night's sleep and declares a compensation
of Rs.10 lakhs to the victim's family.

If You Can Not Stand Behind Our Troops,
Please Feel Free To Stand In Front Of Them!

The difference between the USA/Canada and India was demonstrated clearly in the way they nabbed the Times Square terrorist.
If that incident had occurred in India, first of all, the police would have taken no notice until some VIP instructed them to move their butts.
Then they would find out under whose jurisdiction Times Square was and then they would have asked them to call that police station.
That police station would then harass the complaint, may be put him behind bars and ask him to explain what he was doing there?
That person would have regretted, why he informed the police.
Of course,by this time, the terrorist would have flown to Pakistan.
The Pakistani authorities would then have asked India to supply proofs.
