New Delhi, May 31 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party leader Yogendra Yadav has quit from the party's the Political Affairs Committee (PAC).
Television reports showed that Yadav resigned from AAP's PAC taking responsibility of the party's poor performance in Haryana in the Lok Sabha polls.
Another AAP leader Naveen Jaihind said that he has resigned as a member of National Executive of AAP.
My issue was with volunteers that they should get respect and sought for solution in Haryana, which led to Yogendra Yadav seeking a showcause notice to me although I did nothing. Since, the party did not take action against me he said that he will resign. I have said to the party that I will resign if he has so much problem, while I will work as a volunteer for the party.(ANI)
Yogendra Yadav replies
Rumours about my quitting AAP are baseless.
I am very much with the party and committed to working for it harder than ever.
