Says it all about Pakistan's double crossing.
However, we knew all along that Pakistan was running with the rabbits and hunting with the hounds but the USA wouldn't.
Like the proverbial ostrich, it chose to bury its head in the sand, hoping that Pakistan wasn't fooling it.
The best course would be for the USA to come to some arrangement with India to control both Pakistan and China who is making inroads into Pakistani territory
