Sikkim Trip - 14.03.2010

14th March.2010
We went on local sight seeing.
We visited the Gonjang Monastery which was made by the brother of one of our school boys Lakshey Gyaltsen.
The Sikkim boys sent Lakshey to the monastery just to act as our guide and to give us the details of the monastery, its history , tradition and to show us places which are
Not normally accessible to the lay public.
While the others had some non-veg food, I had some biscuits which I normally carry with me.
Everything was on the house as Lakshey refused to take any payment.
After a round of photographs of the monastery we went on to the Banjhakri Falls.
This too is a well maintained and beautiful spot where are cameras just did not stop clicking.
Because we spent a bit too long at the monastery, we could cover only these two places on that day.
