Delhi assembly elections: All hands on deck to ensure BJP win

As the BJP banks on Brand Modi to sweep the Delhi Assembly elections, as many as 300 BJP MPs will be in the city over the next two months to oversee poll preparations and ensure the party maintains its winning streak in the Capital.
The national leadership has decided to focus all its energy on the upcoming assembly polls to ensure the party wins by a clear majority.
Sources said a high-level meeting was held early morning on Friday at the Delhi BJP's Pandit Pant Marg office.
A senior BJP leader said each MP had been entrusted with the job of conducting at least three public meetings in the coming few months.
Sources said the BJP's national president Amit Shah was also likely to meet the new BJP team on November 18. This will be the first meeting of the new team ahead of the elections.
"All the MPs will be here for the next two months or so and will conduct several public meetings. The idea is to ensure that each MP reaches out to a maximum number of people from their regions and people from different communities. Their complete role in the Delhi elections will be decided by Amit Shahji, who has called a meeting of all the state functionaries on November 18," said a senior BJP leader.
To counter the reach of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as well as micro-managing the party's election campaign, the BJP state unit has been asked to conduct at least 2,700 meetings in the coming two months. "The meetings could be with only 100 people in an area where we have a weaker presence or the seats which have traditionally not been out strongholds," said a senior leader.
The idea is to motivate the cadre. When they see senior leaders so involved in campaigning, it will motivate them further, said another senior leader.
A number of Delhi MPs have already started preparing for the assembly elections. For instance, Ramesh Bidhuri MP from South constituency adopted Bhatti village under the 'Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana'.
The party has started preparing a list of its star campaigners who will campaign extensively. Not only this, to ensure there is no goof-up during press conferences or debates on television, a list is being prepared of those ministers who will be allowed to go on media programmes. The party had recently launched a massive membership drive with a special focus on the youth and the first-time voters. Delhi BJP had recently claimed that it has added over 3 lakh new members to its fold.
HT had reported the party is busy bringing together a manifesto committee, and will focus its campaign on having the same party rule in Delhi as the Centre to expedite development in the state.

No matter what the BJP does.
As long as they do not play dirty through criminals and tampering with the EVM, AAP will beat them.
