Anti-terror body: Mamata upset

KOLKATA, 13 FEB: Chief minister Mamata Banerjee is upset with the Centre's decision to come up with the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC), an agency set up to maintain data of terror modules, terrorists, their associates, friends, families and supporters which will start functioning from 1 March.
Miss Banerjee reportedly feels it will be an attack on the federal structure of the country since the officials of NCTC will have the powers to seize or arrest any person suspected to have terror links. The NCTC will derive powers from the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), which allows the Central government agencies to make arrests or searches in terror-related cases. It may seek information from various agencies. The chief minister is reportedly in touch with her counterparts in Bihar and Odisha over the issue. sns

Ever since the attack on World Trade Centre on Sept 11.2011, the USA has never had a similar attack.
On the other hand we in India have had regular attacks all over India.
Why?
It is because of people like Mamta Banerjee who is always ready to fight for her rights but doe not care for the thousands of people who are killed every year because of terrorists attack. The latest one being just yesterday in Delhi by a magnetic car bomb.
Instead of cooperating with the centre to strengthen our anti-terrorist forces, she is finding fault in it to derail it, just for her vote bank.
