This news has been circulating now for the last two years.
Advani had made this an election issue, saying he would bring back all this money if elected to power.
He wasn't elected so it stays put in the banks.
Our central government cannot even utter the names of the persons who have the accounts inspite of prodding by the Supreme Court giving some excuse or the other.
Now Nitin Gadkari has also offered to bring back all the money but we all know this is as hollow as their earlier assurance to bring the Bofors criminals to brook.
It is only if our people rise like they have in Tunisia and Egypt will the disease be cleansed.
