NCP people call it Bombay

Sienna > MNS candidate calls Mumbai 'Bombay', 'Bambai'

Mumbai: Two days after Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray forced filmmaker Karan Johar to tender an apology for calling Mumbai by its previous name, Bombay, in his film Wake up Sid, an MNS candidate referred to the city as "Bombay" and "Bambai".

Rajendra Mahale, MNS candidate from the Belapur constituency in neighbouring Navi Mumbai, referred to Mumbai as "Bombay" and "Bambai" while speaking to a television channel.

This has evoked criticism from the party's rival the Shiv Sena, led by Raj's estranged
cousin Uddhav. "Raj should first ensure that his party members refer to Mumbai by its official name before taking [it] upon himself the onus of making others refer [to] the city as Mumbai," a Sena leader said.

So finally the cat is out of the bag.
The imbecile did it for publicity since he cannot control his own people.
Karan went and touched the feet of the imbecile and thank him for giving his film a lot of free publicity, not to ask forgiveness.
Some people have asked me if with all my writing on the imbecile, I was not afraid.
"No", I have been telling them. " He knows no other language except Marathi. Who is going to translate what I am writing for him?"
