Now Sheila Dixit speaks against Biharis

Nitish, Sushil Modi flay Sheila Dikshit’s remarks

Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar and his deputy Sushil Kumar Modi on Saturday described the alleged anti-Bihari remarks of the Delhi chief minister Sheila Dixit as irreponsible and said it reflected her narrow-mindedness. Dikshit, it may be recalled, wants common economic zone to ease burden on Delhi.

Talking to reporters in Rajgir, where he is spending the last week of the year, Nitish said Sheila Dixit's statement holding Biharis responsible for the problems plaguing Delhi is an irresponsible act. “We condemn it”, he said.

He said that Delhi is the nation’s pride and it does not belong to somebody. All the citizens of the country have equal and full right on it.

Deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi, while talking to media in Patna, criticised her remarks and said it was not expected from a leader like her. Her statement was against the country’s unity and integrity, besides constitutional prestige, he alleged.

Wile I do not support this type of speeches by Sheila Dixit since it is against the federal structure of India, I cannot help but blame the Leaders of Bihar for bringing about this feeling among other state people.
Repeated misrule by various chief ministers ever since independence has brought about this state of affairs.
Although many of them were educated, they promoted caste politics, corruption and other negative tendencies which has brought about this. I am sorry to say but, even Jain Prakash Narain whom many people revere was not above this caste politics.
This slide continued right up to the time of Lalu Yadav, who was the worst.
Only after the coming of Nitish Kumar have things started improving. In the meantime while India moved forward, Bihar went backward. We can therefore safely say that Bihar is 120 years behind states like Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka.
Our own state Bengal started moving back after the left front came to power. Bengal you can say is 70 years behind the rest of India. But we are catching up with Bihar. While Bihar has started improving, Bengal is still going back.
Thus we see that, after Biharis, the Bengalis are the next largest group seeking employment outside their state.
Reactions against Bengalis have already started from Gujarat and the South.

However, what surprises me is Sheila Dixit has not said anything against the illegal Bangladeshis.
Again vote bank politics?

Its all politics and nothing else. Firstly, Shiela Dixit has no locus standi to make such comments. she herself is an outsider. her husband is from East U.P and she herself a Khatri Punjabi, not a native of Delhi. By making such comments she is trying to legitimize her claim to nativity of Delhi. I must tell you all friends who are reading this comment that Delhi is a province that is part of Khari Boli and brij boli belt spread over Haryana, Delhi, West U.P and Eastern Rajasthan. By default or design, unfortunately, it has been surgically removed from its belt. The native people are so badly marginalised and outnumbered that they are not even considered Delhi wallahs. Maharastrians in Mumbai are much better off than us.

I can not blame Biharis or any other state for our misery like Sheila Dixit is doing. Its her greed that’s doing all the damage. She wants all the investments in Delhi. Common wealth Games- ~ Rs. 50,000crores. Metro ~Rs 50,000 crores. Some people, particularly Delhites may not like my comment about Metro. But what I find ridiculous is that so much nation’s wealth is invested in this city because Shiela Dixit and her kin did not want to disturb the car wallas who are clogging the roads of Delhi. Its amazing that people can own many cars and sweetly own the roads of Delhi and force a huge expense like Metro on this nation. So much money could have built an entire new city in another state or thousands of schools for children in far interiors or build hospitals in countryside. But the car walas are far more important for this lady. After all the car sales must not drop. There are big corporates that will be affected if that happens. These corporates are much closer to the hearts of our politicians than Biharis.

You want to invest nation’s wealth in Delhi but do not want people from rest of nation to come to Delhi. Shiela Dixit is behaving a bit too cheeky. She wants the cake and eat it too.
Its not say that Bihar and other states are not to be blamed for their own poor administration. They have to take this blame. But there is something much bigger than this that’s causing this migration . It is investments resulting from the greed of politicians like Shiela Dixit. How politicians make money out of investments is anyone’s guess.

Disinvestments from Delhi and spreading them evenly across the rest of country is the only way to save Delhi and not Shiela aunty’s way.
